Being an avid kpop fan for close to 7-8 years, I have watched numerous korean dramas. So today, I will be sharing my favourite dramas with you guys. I will only be reviewing those aired in the year of 2017, otherwise this post is gonna be too long.
1. While you were sleeping

I like that there is a good balance between the romance and the legal component. The storyline is intriguing. I wouldn’t say the concept is new since there were a couple of dramas with similar concept. Lee Jong Suk and Suzy's acting were impressive. I actually completed watching this drama within a few days. This simply shows how nice the drama was and I would definitely recommend you guys to watch it!
2. I'm not a robot
My very first Yoo Seung Ho drama!!! I know I’m late since he acted in quite a few dramas before this. But I’m really impressed with his performance in this robot drama. His acting is matured and able to resonate with public. I could really makes you feel all the frustration, happiness, disappointment that he felt. Chae Soo bin did a splendid job as well!
The genre of this drama is romantic comedy. Due to a robot malfunction, Jo Ji Ah (Chae Soo bin) pretended to be a robot in place of the Aji 3 robot for Min Kyu (Yoo Seung Ho) testing. I really like the storyline because it was something different from the usual romance drama. However, it didn't do well in its ratings. I was kind of sad because everything seems to be really in place e.g. the acting, storyline and others...On a positive note, this drama was well received in the overseas market.
3. Innocent Defendant
As usual, Ji Sung drama never fails me. This is the third drama I have watched with Ji Sung as the lead actor. His previous two dramas, secret love and kill me heal me, were superior. I actually started watching this drama because Ji Sung won the Daesang award in SBS drama award 2017. This drama also clinched the best drama of the year award last year.
Storyline: Ji Sung was accused of murdering his wife and daughter. Throughout this drama, he tries to prove his innocence while Uhm Ki Joon prevents him from doing so. This drama scored over 25% ratings and received the highest viewership ratings in its time-slot throughout its run. It was praised for its ability to reflect the ugly side of society, whereby the rich and powerful figures often gained an upper hand.
Thanks for reading!!!
